OUR CUSTOM SHOP GUARANTEE & RETURN POLICY
We strive to do the best that we can do in every aspect of our business, and the DOGS Unlimited Custom Shop is no different. However, when you order from the Custom Shop we are making a product just for you -- to your specifications and your dimensions. So, because a custom order is just that -- CUSTOM-- we will not be able to offer our return policy for any item that comes out of the DOGS Unlimited Custom Shop.
What is the DOGS Unlimited Custom Shop?
Here you are able to ask for and receive products made just for you. For instance, you may want a Dura-Lon Double Ring collar with a different color on each side of the O-ring, or perhaps you'd like a color that's not standard.
No problem.
If you have something in mind that will make your hunting trip extra special or make you and your dog more comfortable give us a call; we'll do whatever we can to make it happen.
Below are just some of the things our Custom Shop can do for you:
DURA-LON COLLARS & LEADS
While we have the following Dura-Lon colors in stock - Orange, Red, Yellow, Royal Blue, Hot Pink and Light Green - the following custom colors are also available:
Kelly Green
Purple
Cobalt Blue
Brown
Black
White
Custom lengths of all collars and leads are also available.
FIELD TRIAL COLLARS
Our standard Field Trial Collars come in Red-Orange, Lime-Yellow and Hot Pink but occasionally other colors are needed in certain situations (Blue really stands out against the multi-floral leaf colors during the early fall hunting season in the east and mid-west). The following colors are available in sizes 15", 17", 19" and 21". (please refer to our Collar Sizing Guidelines to see exactly what size your dog will need).

LEATHER COLLARS
Certain leather collars can be made to order. Give us a call or order online with your request and we'll do everything we can to make what you want.
Our custom Bridle and Harness Leather Collars are unlike any collars you've ever seen. Choose your style, width, length and hardware options and we'll take care of the rest. We can almost guarantee that no one you know will have a collar just like yours.
CHECK CORDS & CHECK STRAPS
For most bird dog trainers the standard length of our check cords is just fine but for some a little more length is perfect when it comes to making their good dog better. We can accommodate this need. Give us a call and tell us exactly how long you would like your check cord or check strap to be and we will make it up for you just the way you want it.
KENNEL SHADES
We offer 3 standard sizes of Kennel Shade but we understand that these won't work for everyone. If you have a kennel dimension that we don't cover give us a call and let us make you a custom Kennel Shade that works perfectly for your situation. All Kennel Shades come with the required number of bungee ties so putting up or taking down your Kennel Shades is a simple task year after year.
SPECIALTY PRODUCTS
Perhaps there's something -- anything -- that you'd really like, but just can't find it. Give us a call and we'll see what we can do to make it for you.
PRODUCTION TIME AND PRICING
We anticipate that you'll receive your custom product approximately 10 - 14 days after ordering. And if we get it made sooner you'll receive it sooner.
If your custom order is part of a larger order, we'll send you all of the in-stock merchandise as soon as that part of the order is filled, then send along the custom order once it has been completed. That way you can get to the task of making your good dog better faster. Also, all custom orders that are shipped separately from a larger order will be shipped via the lowest cost carrier unless otherwise instructed by the customer.
Simple economies of scale dictate pricing. All custom orders will be subject to a bit of a surcharge over and above the standard price for the comparable in-stock product. If your custom order is not similar to such an item, pricing will be determined during the order taking process.
Shipping Costs will be determined when the order is processed. Typically the custom portion of the order, if shipped separately, is shipped at the lowest postal rate unless the customer requests a different shipping method. As always the customer will only be charged the actual shipping rate plus $1.50 processing fee.
